In an interview with CNN, Doctor Brian Hill stated that the Affordable Care Act had complicated matters for many doctors.
Hill complains that rather than focusing on his patients, he now has to report to the federal bureaucracy. For many doctors, he believes that medical care has moved away from spending time with patients to becoming too money focused. Instead, doctors have taken on more patients to meet expenses and are finding themselves spread too thin.
However, Doctor Arvin Nanda had the opposite perspective, praising the Affordable Care Act for helping the poor and less fortunate in her city of Dayton, Ohio. She called it as it was: The ACA wasn’t a finished product, but was instead supposed to be a jumping point and offer insurance to more people.
For the most part, it’s as split as it appears to be among consumers.
